Yep. Rules. Every forum has them to run correctly. Be sure to read them before doing anything else.
Rule 1: Please be polite.
We understand if your Role Play calls for you to be rude, or your character does. But please do your best not to be mean or rude to others. Misunderstandings happen, we understand, and if that's the case just be sure to apologize.
Rule 2: Please use English.
This forum is predominately an English speaking forum. Allowing your character to speak small words or phrases in their language is fine, but if it's something obscure people wouldn't know please include some sort of translation in the text. Your English doesn't have to be perfect, but it must at least be understandable.
Rule 3: No God Modding or Power Playing.
God Modding is severely frowned upon here. Please refrain from God Modding or Power Playing. (i.e. Making the RP go the way you want it to EVERY TIME, or taking control of another person's roleplaying character). If you do God Mod, you will be reprimanded by a Moderator. If it persists, you may be banned.
Rule 4: No Chatspeak.
Please, for the love of Grandpa Rome, have some literacy to your posts. Meaning absolutely no chatspeak, or text talk. Chatspeak is okay in the chatbox and in small amounts in OOC bits, but please no posts like, "OMG dood. tht lyk ttly scks. Lol U r stoopid. lolz." I'm pretty sure all of you can type a complete sentence with fully spelled words.
Rule 5: Be literate.
Please, PLEASE, be literate in your posts. Complete sentences, periods, and paragraph form are required. This is a literate role playing site, and this is to be expected. Please make your posts a minimum of two paragraphs (5 sentences minimum) in order to give whoever you're roleplaying with something to work off of.
Rule 6: Quality over Quantity is appreciated.
Long posts are good and all, but having shorter posts that say more are better than long posts that say nothing. Long posts are definitely encouraged, but are not necessarily required.
Rule 7: OCs are allowed.
We understand that not every country in the world is a canon character, and that is why we will be allowing them. Just be sure to be extra detailed in your descriptions of your character.
Rule 8: When you post, be sure to include whether or not it is open or closed.
When you post, it is important for you to include an [Open] or [Closed] in the subject. That way, people looking to join a role play will know whether or not yours is open. If you want specific people to be joining your thread, rather then Open or close, write the other character(s) name(s) in the brackets instead.
Rule 9: Be sure to go through rotation when posting with more than two people.
If your thread contains more then two people, you must go through a rotation of posters before posting again. For example, America posts. Then England posts. Then Canada posts. Then America posts again. The cycle continues on like that until you decide to finish with the roleplay.
Rule 10: Be sure to state which roleplays you will be involved in.
When you join, please be sure to mention which role plays you plan to be active under. If it is not all of them, then that character will be available for those other roleplays for others to take.
Rules are subject to change.
